My Approach to Therapy
I love helping families reduce children’s frustration. To make learning fun and to relieve parents’ anxiety about their child’s speech and language skills.
I also love helping adults with voice difficulties. As an adult, this can often have a severe impacts on their personal and working lives.
About Me
I have over 25 years’ experience but feel like I am still learning every day. I qualified and worked in South Africa before moving to Ireland in 2001. My degree also includes qualification as an Audiologist.
In the past, I have worked in multidisciplinary teams in general Private Practice, Intellectual Disability, Visual Impairment and Autistic Spectrum Disorder, with a wide variety of ages and disorders.
As well as extensive direct clinical experience in Early Intervention, management and supervision, I also provides SLT supervision and mentoring to other CATTS therapists.
